How to use this site? First choose a country or region of interest from the links available on the links panel on the left side of each window. This will bring you to the page dealing with the chosen country/region.
~ Each window is then divided into an initial explanatory section where we gathered general information that we felt might be of interest to the reader. Below this are walking trip suggestions, with time required and other information. Interspersed are paying advertisements as supplied by the Google search engine. They are clearly marked and remember, they are from businesses who are willing to pay for your custom. Below this again is a search box that allows you to search further in either the World Wide Web or on a selection of other sites. Following this are links to other sites that we felt of consequence
and possible interest. Where available, we included links to well established sites such as the CIA Fact Book, Lonely Planet, the popular free encyclopaedia 'Wikipedia' and official local tourism/government sites.
