Chile

This is the longest country in the world as it stretches over half of the whole length of the South American continent.

From the tropical north to its southern tip, reaching into Antartica, Chile is within the highest stretches of the Andes and home to volcanoes, glaciers, fjords and the world’s most arid desert, Atacama in northern Chile which has sections that has never recorded any rainfall. It is currently considered the most trouble-free country in South America.

Some of the country’s spectacular national parks include Parque Nacional Laguna San Rafael, Parque Nacional Lauca, Parque Nacional Torres del Paine and Chile’s first national park Parque Nacional Vicente Pérez Rosales.
